We provide family photography services for the East Memphis, TN areas mainly including Memphis, TN; Germantown, TN; Collierville, TN; and Rossville, TN.
Sessions include 1-2 hours of photography time. Usually, it ends up being 1-1.5 hours.
We offer outdoor and studio sessions. Outdoor sessions can be located in or in close proximity to the Memphis / Germantown / Collierville / Rossville areas. Sessions located outside of that radius may be subject to an additional travel fee. Indoor sessions take place at my home studio, which is located right outside of Collierville, TN.
Session Types and Pricing
See the pricing page on this website for information regarding session types and fees.
Note: Standard Sessions are only for ages 3 months+. Sibling Sessions and Family Sessions can include newborns, but newborns must be held by an older sibling or parent(s) who will also be photographed.
Number of Edited Images You Will See From Your Session
A session includes digital editing of 15 images displayed in an online gallery. We believe in quality over quantity!
When you will see the Images from Your Session
You will be able to view your gallery 10-15 business days (2-3 weeks) after your session. We spend about 2-3 hours editing each image and may have multiple sessions going on, which is why it can take so long. But, we deliver very high-quality images!
Not Included in the Session Fee
Your session fee does not include prints or digital images/files.
Prints and Other Products
We offer prints, canvases, cards, announcements, and ornaments for an additional purchase that can be ordered through your gallery. If ordered through us, your prints will have better color and quality because we utilize a professional print lab. Our prints preserve color detail and prints 8×10 and larger are mounted on a thin board to prevent warping and curling of edges over time (board mounting is VERY important for larger prints). See the products page on our website for more info.
What if the weather is not favorable for an Outdoor Session?
I have no problem shooting in overcast/grey skies. It’s actually great for portraits! However, if it rains or if there are very high winds, we will reschedule your session.
What to Wear
Families should coordinate their clothes. I recommend choosing 3 colors, and each family member wears those colors a little differently. Layers photograph very well. Try not to wear white because it washes people out in photographs. Accessories always make a picture more interesting! If a child has a favorite toy or book that you want in the pictures, please feel free to bring it! Also, click the gold pinterest button in the very top corner of this website to get an idea of what to wear and where to shop!
Avoid: large/wild prints, cartoon characters, large logos.
